How it works

Along with your help, we provide people in resource-poor communities support to help make their ideas thrive.

We’ll spend the first part of 2018 spreading the word about Porches for Progress in Nueva Guinea, Nicaragua. Then we’ll start receiving applications in June of 2018. After careful consideration, micro-grants, ranging from $100 - $500, will be awarded.

Then, positive change happens.

Who we support

Grants will be awarded to applicants who:

• Live within a resource-poor community

• Have a great idea to benefit their community, in one of seven categories

  • Health

  • Education

  • Infrastructure

  • Environment

  • Arts/recreation

  • Economy

  • Equity
